Melbourne’s cult pop-mystiques Dorsal Fins return with their long-awaited third album, Star of the Show, out via Dot Dash Recordings / Remote Control. Seven years in the making, the album sees the band refining their lineup to its core songwriting trio: Liam McGorry (Ex-Olympian, Saskwatch), Ella Thompson (GL), and Jarrad Brown (Eagle and the Worm).

Blending funky, soulful roots with jangly alt-pop, Star of the Show captures Dorsal Fins’ eclectic, ever-evolving sound. Their previous records, Mind Renovation (triple j Feature Album) and Digital Zodiac, established the band as a powerhouse of energetic, experimental live performances.
