“Electric Soup” is Hoodoo Gurus’s first compilation album, originally released in 1992. Formed in Australia in 1981, Hoodoo Gurus were a rock/new-wave group that stood out as one of Sydney’s best Detroit-inspired bands. From 1960s power pop and garage punk to hard rock and funky psychedelia, their music continues to bring something different and refreshing to new listener’s ears.

“Electric Soup” is one of Hoodoo Gurus’s best bodies of work to date, containing many of the groups most popular songs such as “What’s My Scene,” and “Bittersweet.” This album is one of the groups most inspiring piece of work, and will forever be remembered as an Australian classic.
