“Gumption” is Your Friend’s second studio album, originally released in 2016. The alias of Lawrence, Kansas-based singer/songwriter Taryn Blake Miller, Your Friend began as a one-woman show, with Miller working out her enigmatic songs in a live setting via her atmospheric guitar work and soaring voice.

“Gumption ” is Your Friend’s best body of work to date, with many fan favourite songs on the album such as “Heathering,” and “Come Back From It” This album offers a listening experience like no other with her iconic style of ethereal indie rock.
